NORTH DAKOTA - The Human Rights Division of the North Dakota Department of Labor has begun an investigation into allegations of human rights violations on the Secure Services Unit (sex offender unit) of the North Dakota State Hospital. Milena Stojkovic, compliance investigator for the department, said the human rights division must investigate, by law, any complaint that falls within the definition of discrimination, but would reject a complaint that was clearly irrelevant at the outset. She said her investigation at the hospital “could take weeks if not months” because of the large amount of material she has been given. Read more.
