| Male Inmate Seriously Injured in Anchorage Jail Assault |

ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage Jail inmate was seriously injured by another inmate in a Friday assault, Alaska State Troopers say. A Tuesday AST says troopers were informed Monday afternoon about the incident involving two male inmates at the jail, also called the Anchorage Correctional Complex. “Following the incident, the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained and later released to the correctional center,” troopers wrote. “Criminal charges against the suspect will be forwarded to the Anchorage District Attorney's Office when the investigation is complete.” Read More. |
