Restaurant backs off event featuring Death Row inmate's last meals |

Eating the same food as someone who is about to be executed by the state is pretty morbid. It's also in bad taste judging by the social media backlash against Death Row Dinners. Based in London, the pop-up restaurant event was to feature the last meals eaten by Death Row inmates, the Telegraph reports. A promotional photo for the event featured those inmates with their menus hanging around their necks. Foodies were invited to pay 50 British Pounds or $81 for the ghastly experience. Obviously, not everyone was onboard with the idea. Death Row Dinners' Twitter account was blasted by angry tweets, accusing the event organizers of being insensitive and malicious. Read More. |
