Inmates from 2 South Dakota prisons harvest 19 tons of produce for community organizations |

YANKTON, South Dakota — Community organizations in southeastern South Dakota are receiving nearly 19 tons of fresh produce thanks to inmates at two state prisons. The South Dakota Department of Corrections says inmates at Yankton Minimum Unit and Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield harvested about 37,800 pounds of produce this year. Read More. |
