The Iowa Department of Corrections says 47-year-old Rebecca Sue Beyer died Monday in Mitchellville. She was an inmate assigned to the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women Hospice Care Unit in Mitchellville. Officials say Beyer died of natural causes from squamous cell carcinoma, a form of skin cancer. Read More. |
