UPDATE: Phone service has been restored at the WCF, according to a post made to the KDOC Twitter account Saturday evening. Phone service is down at Winfield Correctional Facility, according to posts on Kansas Department of Corrections social media accounts Saturday morning. KDOC spokesman Adam Pfannenstiel confirmed the outage and said workers are still trying to restore service. He did not know what caused the service to go out. Read More. |
