An internal investigation is under way following the death of an inmate at the Baker Correctional Institution in Sanderson Tuesday, according to Times-Union news partner First Coast News. Antonio Gallashaw, 23, died in custody at the facility Tuesday, authorities said. Gallashaw was sentenced to three years in prison Jan. 16 for felony weapons charges, according to corrections records. Read More. |
