Unsealed records detail night of violence in Colorado Springs |

KUSA -An arrest affidavit unsealed Thursday details the night a former Department of Corrections inmate -- and white supremacist gang member -- tried breaking into the home of a former DOC officer. The case focuses on 34-year-old Thomas Guolee, a suspect in the 2013 murder of Department of Corrections Executive Director Tom Clements. Guolee is a reported associated of Evan Ebel, the man who gunned down Clements at his home. KUSA and several other news outlets fought to unseal the records. In court Wednesday, only Guolee's defense requested the judge keep the documents unsealed. A judge said in court the defense failed to show unsealing the records would harm Guolee's right to a fair trial. Read More. |
