Law enforcement on Thursday morning arrested a convicted felon turned parole absconder who cut off his GPS monitor and went on the run earlier this month.

Lakewood police and the Colorado Department of Corrections Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested 33-year-old Ricky Reasoner early Thursday, CDOC reported in a news release. Reasoner went on the run July 7 after cutting through his tracking monitor and fleeing the area of his supervision.
