SHARON – A representative of the state Department of Corrections will tour Sharon next week in an effort to get a better feel for the community and the location of its halfway house on the city’s West Hill.

State Rep. Mark A. Longietti of Hermitage, D-7th District, facilitated the meeting that included Fiscus, council member the Rev. Adam Trambley and police Chief Gerry Smith. State Sen. Michele Brooks of Jamestown, R-50th District, was on the conference call, along with unnamed officials with the Department of Corrections.
