Search continues for work release inmates, locals want tighter security |

LOXLEY, AL (WALA) - It’s been almost 48 hours since two men escaped from the Loxley work release center off County Road 64, and so far, there’s no word on their whereabouts. “It’s a big question for everybody in this community, especially with the children in this area. You’ve got local schools, intermediate schools, young people around town," Edward Mosher said. According to the Alabama Department of Corrections, the men escaped from the work release center Monday night around 9 p.m. The men are 38-year-old Bobby Lee Taylor and 29-year-old Ryan Edward Wilson. Both Taylor and Wilson were facing two year terms for theft of property offenses. Read More. |
