Eight prison inmates charged in Operation Suitcase |

TYRRELL COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Eight prison inmates have been charged in connection with contraband being brought into an Eastern Carolina prison. Tyrrell County Sheriff Darryl Liverman says Operation Suitcase has been going on for several months and the last inmate was charged today. The sheriff says it was a joint investigation between his office and the Department of Public Safety. He said the contraband, which included marijuana and K-2/Spice, was being brought into the Tyrrell Prison Work Farm. Read More. |
