Mount Olive inmate pleads guilty to second degree murder |

A Mount Olive Correctional Complex inmate pleaded guilty last Wednesday to second degree murder. Timothy R. Parsons faces 10 to 40 years when he is sentenced Sept. 7 in Fayette County Circuit Court. Parsons admitted he used a manufactured knife Jan. 22 to stab fellow inmate Eugene Anderson to death. Parsons was serving two life sentences without mercy for the murder of his wife and mother-in-law in Boone County in 2012. Read More. |
