The 2005 CAMA Conference went into full swing with the Evening Welcoming Reception. MA DOC Commissioner Kathleen Dennehy and Sheriff Robert J. Garvey, Hampshire County offered their welcome and some words of encouragement to conference goers. Old friends renewed relationships and newcomers made new friends. The past two days have also been very eventful. The ACA Commission on Accreditation held panel hearings, The Historical Association for Corrections held meeting and the CAMA executive board met.

Day 2 of the 2005 CAMA Conference started with sessions featuring the best in the business sharing their knowledge and expertise with attendees. The ACA Luncheon featured a presentation by Sheriff Andrea J. Cabral, Suffolk County Massachusetts and the presentation of Accreditation Certificates to those facilities accredited at panel hearings held Friday and Saturday.   The day wrapped up with a boat cruise on Boston Harbor.
