I won $2,000,000 in a game of Monopoly one time. I was pretending to be an old shoe. I even got out of jail free. It was ultra-cool.

Well at least in Second Life, you can sell stuff and hopefully become famous.

.Woman makes over $1,000,000 from SecondLife.http://playsquad.commongate.com/post/Woman_makes_over_1_000_000_from_SecondLife

Because right now i opened a gaming parlor in it,and going to change the games from freeplay to L$10 to play and probably going to issue a covercharge.

Hey, don’t know about Second life but HALF LIFE is a pretty cool game. You can play Counter strike and shoot others as either the bad terrorist or the good counter terrorist. ….next topic please….

I used to want to be a Tyrannosaurus Rex, but my arms grew too long, and my teeth never grew in that sharp.

My kids are avid gamers and I played a bit in my day as well. We enjoy new technologies. That being said: WHAT DOESSECOND LIFEHAVE TO DO WITH CORRECTIONS??? Besides, I never heard of it till now. This is NOT a techie blog.

One time i was a volunteer clerk in a health office for corrections.

Actually I’m 32 yrs. old and the TOS for Linden Lab states that no one below 18 may access Second Life. I’ve reported people who said they’re 14 in it for being kids. And i like the new policy for age verification and feel that they should close the whole grid from people who haven’t verified their age as being a adult.

Apparently your failing to see how a lawsuit against some software company for their computer software has NOTHING to do with us as Corrections Professionals, so none of us care. We are here to discuss Corrections related topics, not which games you play when your mommy let’s you on the computer.

Well i was at one time a volunteer clerk in a health office for corrections. And right now there is a huge DMCA Copyright case in SL over someone using a companies name in it.

I’ve never pretended to be a wolf on the job, but I’ve been called a jackass a time or two.

Snapshot_002 renaissance 13 posts

Because i’m either this avatar or a different version of the wolf.

Sorry dude.

BTW,I like SL because i can be a wolf in it and be a security guard.

We are the ones that keep an eye on the Burning Life community and land. We take care of the griefers and the ones that violate the Burning Life Community Standards.

Starting thefirst week of September, we’ll be patrolling the Burning Life grounds. untill the festival is over.

And i just got enrolled into this group today, and they’ll do stuff like crisis training. And i’m both age verified and a premium account holder on it.

I had to search your “yiff in hell” statement to find out what it meant. Your post taught me something I never knew and I thank you for that.

However, I’m done. I’m too old for this.

Dude, you should have ate the blue pill…. Oh and don’t kill your enemies avaters, you can go to jail, happened a little while ago. when a ex killed her other halves avatar.

There is no snobbery against Second Life here. You are simply in the wrong venue and are asking the wrong people. I don’t mean to sound cruel or unkind, but I got a good belly laugh when I finally clicked on the links you provided. You’re taking SL way too serious for us!

For those who didn’t click on the provided link(s):

Second Life (SL) is a virtual world developed by Linden Lab that launched on June 23, 2003 and is accessible via the Internet. A free client program called the Second Life Viewer1 enables its users, called Residents, to interact with each other through avatars. Residents can explore, meet other residents, socialize, participate in individual and group activities, and create and trade virtual property and services with one another, or travel throughout the world, which residents refer to as the grid. Second Life is for people aged 18 and over, while Teen Second Life is for people aged 13 to 17.

And I say again what has “Second Life” got to do with corrections?

Snapshot_002 renaissance 13 posts

Of course the company that makes SL has been ticking me off and everyone else in it with every new stupid rule they make.

Key: ARVD-1
