| Description: | The Mental Health Coordinator plans professional psychological service programs of a non-medical nature in the facility. Coordinates and directs activities of personnel engaged in providing psychological services to inmates/residents. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in psychology, a master's degree in social work or an appropriate degree in a related clinical area. Five years clinical experience which includes two years in a comparable job position required. Must have appropriate certification or licensing. A valid driver's license is preferred, unless required by contract or applicable statute. Demonstrate mature judgment and professionalism in working with inmates/residents, families, community represented. Demonstrate mature judgment and professionalism in working with inmates/residents, families, community representatives and other staff. |
