| Description: | The Regional Food Services Director oversees site management administrative and operational functions within the food services department. RFSD is responsible for providing supervision, technical guidance, training and quality assurance for all sites that offer food services. • Responsible for the food services program for each contract. • Responsible for marketing ATSI’s Food Service Program to new and potential contracts. • Phase’s in staff for all new contracts. • Continues to pursue new opportunities to achieve corporate goals. • Create, monitors, and achieves budget goals. • Responsible for submittal of deliverables per contract. • Assists in proposal development. • Makes recommendations for contract modifications to the corporate office. • Hires (with HR), trains and develops management team for sites. • Implements detainee training programs for the food service dept. • Responsible for communications between the Corporate and the Contracting Officer Technical Representative. • Handles cost controls and sanitation (HACCP) issues. • Prepare and submit reports in functional area on time and accurately. • Assures all reports submitted to the client are completed accurately and within set time restraints. • Support the Safety and Quality Control programs. • Recommend changes to the departments policies and procedures. • Maintains an accurate food inventory program. • Ensures all safety and health dept standards are being followed while processing food products. • Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have ten years experience in supervision or management level in an institutional dining facility setting. • Experience in purchasing high volume food products. • Bachelors Degree in relevant field required. • Must be proficient with computers and software programs. Must have excellent communication and marketing skills. Experience with developing and monitoring budgets. Client and Customer service focused. Frequent travel is required, job sites located in Arizona, Texas, Florida & California. Will be required to work from home making frequent visits to various sites. May lift or push up to 50lbs. May be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time. |
