The Director of Behavioral Health Services will be responsible to develop and monitor the implementation of policies and procedures for mental health services to ensure that the mental health services offered comply with CCS Policy and Procedures, the policies and procedures of the Facility, in accordance with the ethics and standards of the American Psychological Association, and with the standards of the American Correctional Association and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care when these accrediting bodies are relevant to the facilities. Shift: Full-time, Days; Some travel to the facilities in Vermont required. Location: The Regional Office will be located in Waterbury, VT. In partnership with the Vermont DOC, we will have facilities in Springfield, Windsor, St. Johnsbury, South Burlington, Rutland and Newport, VT. Requirements: Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited, traditional (not internet or distance learning based) college or university. Licensed to practice psychology in Vermont. Five years professional experience in providing direct clinical evaluation, treatment and consultation services as well as experience in administering mental health programs within a correctional setting.
