| Description: | VOCATIONAL COORDINATOR (SO1288) The candidate for this position provides a variety of learning experiences related to general vocational trades. Typical duties include: * Provides both individual and group training in areas such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing and horticulture * Liaison to maintenance department identifying on-site work experiences to residents * Identify and structure projects which will improve the company's existing property and buildings * Coordinate with Educational Instructor and Intake Counselor on job placement * Identify and initiate action regarding maintenance and equipment problems within the vocational department The right candidate will have: * A high school diploma or GED * Journeyman level knowledge in 2 trades * 2 years formal training and experience in vocational trades |
