| Description: | PROGRAM MANAGER – UNCLASSIFIED – 7150 (FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGIST) OPENING: MAY 17, 2013 CLOSING: OPEN UNTIL FILLED (FIRST SCREENING: JUNE 3, 2013) Grade: U3 Minimum Annual Starting Salary: $85,000 This position is exempt from payment of overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Desired Qualifications: A Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology plus significant professional experience in management in the field of Psychology. This is an unclassified position, not subject to the Pima County Merit System Rules. Licenses and Certificates: Possession of a current license to practice as a Psychologist in the State of Arizona and in good standing with the Board of Psychologist Examiners is required at the time of appointment, and must be maintained as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain required licensure shall be grounds for termination. Special Notice Items: Department of Labor Regulation CFR Part 1910.1030 requires notification that this category may have a high risk of exposure to blood borne pathogens. TB screening, Hepatitis B vaccine, and individual safety training and equipment will be provided. All positions require satisfactory completion of a background investigation due to need for access to law enforcement, corrections and court facilities, property, communications’ systems and associated confidential and sensitive information, documents and databases. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Minimum two years of experience in psychological evaluation, administration and interpretation of psychological tests. 2. State forensic certification for legal competency and restoration. There are two positions, with work hours from 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. four days/week, located at the Pima County Jail in the Restoration to Competency Program, in the Office of Behavioral Health. |
