| Description: | The Corrections System Support Program (CSSP) Task Order with PAE is seeking an individual to be based in our Kabul, Afghanistan office and to serve as the Security-Operations Advisor, a part of our Embedded Mentor Capacity Building Advisory team. The Security-Operations Advisor will be responsible for the following duties: • Provide advice on strategies, policies and plans affecting project operations, delivery of training, mentoring and advisory services. • Focus on compliance of operations with SOW, regulations and policies and implementation of US Embassy Kabul INL Section operational strategies. • Establish collaborative arrangements and appropriate operational partnerships with Afghan and other international organizations. Qualifications: • Minimum (3) three years as Associate/Deputy Warden (or equivalent) • Minimum (2) two years of corrections experience at the executive level, with central office, regional or state-level oversight over multiple correctional institutions and operations • Minimum (12) twelve years’ experience in corrections, at least two of which in security operations, threat analysis, or prison safety capacity • A bachelor’s degree plus some demonstration of continuing education in security operations, prison safety, security plans, or threat analysis |
