Description: Clackamas County Behavioral Health seeks a temporary full time Mental Health Specialist 2 to provide substance abuse treatment to male clients within the Corrections Residential Program. This program provides 6 months of residential treatment (Level 3) and an additional 6 months of transitional programming. Another component of this position is providing treatment to men on probation and parole meeting requirements for Intensive Outpatient Addiction's Treatment (Level 2). This recruitment is available only to male candidates. The focus of this position is working with male clients within the Corrections Residential Center. NOTE: The Corrections Substance Abuse (CSAP) provides residential addiction services to men and women with significant addiction and criminal histories. This position is specifically for the Men's CSAP program. Due to the special treatment needs of this population, this position meets the criteria for a bona fide occupational qualification and is restricted to male applicants only. REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be a CADC, must pass a post-offer criminal history check and pre-employment drug test.
