CEC is seeking a professional in the role of AOD Counselor at California Correctional Center, located in Susanville, California. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of direct services to inmates participating in the program. You will act as a role model, modeling professionalism and pro-social life skills and behavior patterns, consistent with the substance abuse treatment services being provided. You will conduct assessments and initial clinical evaluations and conduct group and individual sessions while working collaboratively with California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) staff. In this role you shall possess these minimum qualifications: •Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent •Be certified as an Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselor with a certification recognized by the California Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) •Have a minimum of one (1) year experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy services to an offender population Community Education Centers offers unlimited potential for career growth, a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, and 401(k).
