We are searching for highly motivated individuals for the role of Health Services Administrator at Kinney County Detention Center located in Brackettville, TX. We are currently seeking a full-time RN/HSA in Brackettville, TX. In this position, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to residents in an ambulatory care setting. Duties include: - Carrying out physician/psychiatrist/dentist orders - Performing nursing intakes/assessments - Administering medications - Providing day-to-day nursing care Day Shift, Monday through Friday. Must be able partake in 24 on-call duty. Additional Requirements The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited program with at least one year of experience in a hospital, ambulatory care, or institutional setting. Strong assessment, communication and organizational skills are a must. Medical Surgical/ER experience required. Psych, Ambulatory or Correctional experience a plus. Candidates require CPR certification. Preferably, you will also have experience in an ACA/NCCHC accredited facility, and/or substance abuse or correctional facilities.
