| Description: | Exciting opportunity to be involved in MTC's expansion in corrections, meeting new and prominent individuals. We are seeking a Director, Corrections Marketing to join our team. This position is located in Centerville, UT and travels extensively to interesting and diverse places. Essential Functions This position is responsible for the acquisition of new business through the implementation of Management & Training Corporation's corrections marketing plan. Other responsibilities include: 1. Review, edit and make necessary updates to current corrections marketing plan. 2. Assist in proposal development. 3. Assist in new contract start up. 4. Develop correction’s marketing database. 5. Identify new sources for corrections privatization. Assist in identifying sites for new correctional facilities. 6. Present MTC's corrections marketing program to city, county and state legislative bodies and correction departments. 7. Assist in obtaining required permits for correctional facility placement. 8. Maintain and conform to Management & Training Corporation's ethics code in marketing. 9. Maintain accountability of property; adheres to safety practices. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in corrections, marketing or related field plus five years corrections or marketing experience required. Three (3) years supervisory experience preferred. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements. Extensive travel required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Unless waived by management, valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
