Description: JOB DESCRIPTION Summary Abraxas, A GEO Group Company, is seeking an experienced manager for a Facility Director / Program Director position in our Abraxas facility, Woodridge Interventions, located in Woodridge, IL. The right candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory and managerial experience in a residential treatment setting. Welcome to Woodridge Interventions Woodridge Interventions provides a variety of substance abuse and related treatment options with differences in setting, type and range of services, and number of services offered. The goal of substance abuse treatment is to place clients in the appropriate level of care, matching the intensity of service to the severity of the client's individual need. As Woodridge provides such a wide range of services, we assist clients in moving seamlessly from one level of service to the next according to their individual needs, all within our facilities. In addition, we provide substance abuse services in specialized programs designed to help populations with special needs such as criminal justice clients, parents involved in child welfare systems, or adolescent boys and girls. At the heart of our program are dedicated, skilled, and professional staff that genuinely care. Woodridge provides specialized inpatient substance abuse treatment services for adolescent and adult males. The facility also provides outpatient services, including DUI services for both male and females. The Men's Residential program has 39 beds for adult males with substance abuse issues. The Adolescent Residential program has 38 beds for adolescent males 13 to 18 years of age who have substance abuse and behavioral issues. The Recovery Home is a 12 bed step-down program for males 16 to 19 years of age who have completed a residential treatment program. Our outpatient substance abuse program serves 75 adults and adolescents. Our programming incorporates evidence-based best practices in the field of addictions. Our clinically trained staff works for the good of the clients to provide the best possible outcomes for leading productive lives outside of treatment. Our comprehensive clinical assessment process places each individual at the best level of care to safely address their needs. This is NOT a Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm position. The right candidate will have to remain flexible in their schedule to ensure staff and client issues are handled in a timely manner. Responsibilities of the Program Director position include, but are not limited to: Oversees all program/facility operations including clinical, educational, financial, and administrative of the clients and staff members through inter-departmental coordination and cooperation. Develops, modifies, and monitors programmatic services to ensure quality/safety to meet the clients, licensing agency, and referral agency needs. Assist with developing yearly program/facility fiscal goals to include clinical, administrative, personnel, and capital improvement goals.
Special Instructions: JOB REQUIREMENTS JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences or related field supplemented by courses in business administration and a minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in a correctional or detention facility at the minimum level of associate Facility Administrator or Warden of a correctional facility or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Exceptions may be made concerning supervisory experience if the candidate clearly demonstrates the ability to supervise the proper administration of a correction or detention facility of a substantial number of inmates. ILLINOIS STATE REQUIREMENT - Must Have CADC or CRADC or hold ILLINOIS LPC/LCPC or LSW/LCSW.. Must possess a working knowledge of program objectives, policies, correctional laws, applicable court orders, procedures and requirements for managing a secure correction or detention facility. Must have strong leadership ability, sound judgment, and effective administrative ability. Possesses a thorough knowledge and understanding of the objectives and principles of career development and advancement programs.
