Description: Job Description TITLE: Project Manager LOCATION: Bethesda, MD DURATION: Full Time TRAVEL: Up to 100% SCHEDULE: Must be flexible to work holidays, weekends and multiple shift options Our company is seeking a qualified Project Manager (PM) to provide leadership for multiple project facilities. The Project Manager is a management representative responsible for the on-site supervision of all company employees, the assurance of total contract compliance, the adherence to operational budgets, effective client relations, productive employee and labor relations, and the effective operation of the Contract. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent client communication and customer service skills and also be capable of working in a multi-disciplined team environment in a very fast paced and competitive environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In order to accomplish the required functions associated with this position, the (PM) shall perform the duties detailed below in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as our client’s standard operating procedures, emergency/contingency plans, and the contract. • This position supervises all other command positions on the contract to include the APM, the Training and Administrative Staff and all uniformed supervisors and officers. • Develop and implement Contract specific, procedures and processes that will ensure total Contract compliance in the delivery of services to the client. • Ensure that both the Client’s and our company policies, procedures and processes are implemented and adhered to. • Implement an operational plan that ensures that Site Specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are developed and implemented for all essential functions and tasks in the performance of the contract. • Monitor contract performance through the implementation of relevant and effective management matrices and reports. • The PM will ensure that an effective and accountable inventory control system for all company and government furnished property. • Being knowledgeable of the Service Contract Act and relevant Collective Bargaining Agreements. • Ensuring that the management team develop, implement and monitor employee development and enhancement programs. • Be a member of the company collective bargaining negotiating team. As such, work closely with the company’s Legal and Human Resources Departments in the development of the company’s negotiating position. • The PM will understand the operating budget and work diligently to adhere to it. • The PM will supervise the functions of the management team to ensure that formal quality control inspections are performed on a monthly basis. • That all members of the command staff work diligently with their assigned officers to ensure that quality service are provided to the client at all times. • Following company audit procedures to ensure that a comprehensive contract self-assessment program is developed, implemented and conducted on a quarterly basis. Minimum Qualifications & Skills: • A two (2) year college degree in law enforcement or security management • Possess at least seven (7) years of specialized security experience and five (5) years (obtained within the last seven years) of Management experience at a government facility with a security force equivalent to or at a minimum half of the officers assigned to this contract. • Must pass and maintain all required training, certifications, and licensing • Must be able to speak, read, write and effectively communicate in English under normal and stressful conditions • Available to work evenings, nights, weekends, and/or holidays • Strong customer service skills Upon successful verification of the above minimum qualifications and job description criteria, candidate will be processed for necessary security clearance.
