| Description: | INMATE PROGRAM COORDINATOR Job #: 6113.07.001 POSTING TYPE: Open-Competitive DEPARTMENT: Sheriff HOURS: Full-time HIRING RANGE: $46,500 - 51,600/year (C-41 DBM Level) SALARY RANGE: $46,500 - 66,900/year LOCATION: Hastings UNION: Correctional Deputy & Dispatch Teamsters 320 CLOSE DATE: 4:30 p.m. on August 17, 2007 THIS RECRUITMENT REQUIRES THE COMPLETION OF SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONS WHICH MUST BE RECEIVED WITH THE APPLICATION MATERIALS NO LATER THAN 4:30 P.M. ON THE CLOSING DATE OF 8/17/07. Develops, writes, implements, coordinates, supervises, maintains, improves, instructs, inspects, evaluates, and recommends to jail administration all aspects of jail programming as it relates to the smooth operation of the Dakota County Jail; submits reports as required, and performs related work as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Recreational Therapy or in a closely related field AND · Three years of program management/coordination experience. OR · A combination of education and program management/coordination experience to total 7 years. Experience in the field of correctional inmate programming preferred but not required. |
