Jerry Ritchie Jr., 39, of Davidson, N.C. filed suit last week in Superior Court against Mecklenburg County and nine jail employees, seeking damages for assault and battery, false arrest, malicious prosecution, violations of his constitutional rights and other offenses. 'I was terrified,' Ritchie said in an interview. |
