| Arrest Warrant Issued for Detroit's Kilpatrick |

Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick could be returning to Detroit any time now --after an arrest warrant was issued for probation violations in the text message scandal. Kilpatrick is now listed as a wanted man nationwide for several alleged violations of his probation terms. There are reports that the State Department of Corrections has given Kilpatrick until today to return. Kilpatrick's lawyer, Michael Schwartz, would not say if Kilpatrick would return today -- only saying he hopes to see Kilpatrick back in Detroit soon. On Monday morning, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy filed additional allegations against Kilpatrick. The new information shows several friends and relatives helping with restitution payments. Prosecutors say Kilpatrick has violated a court order by failing to disclose the names of those helping him make the payments. Read More. |
