NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) A Nashville lawyer says he's concerned his paralyzed client is not getting the treatment he needs after he was arrested for trying to run over a police officer with a car. Prison officials said that mistakes have been made, but insist no one is intentionally withholding care from 52-year-old Michael Smith. Nashville police arrested Smith in April after he struck Officer Chad Barth in a parking garage. Barth fired several shots and clipped Smith's spinal cord, paralyzing him from the waist down.
