SAGINAW — Curtis Robinson and his wife, Helena, were watching television in their home at 4 Jefferson Court on Saginaw’s East Side late Nov. 6, 2002, when they had an “unexpected guest,” he testified Thursday. Someone was “banging on my door,” Robinson said. Share When he went to the door he found a young man standing there wearing only his underwear and bleeding — “a lot” — from numerous places on his body. That man, Nefonzie Saunders, told Robinson he had been forced into the trunk of his mother’s car and then shot while inside. Robinson testified during the trial for Charles H. Arthur, 43, who Saginaw County Assistant Prosecutor Richard King told a jury during opening arguments Thursday is the man who shot Saunders. Read More. |
