VA Man Charged With Killing Family |

A Newport News man has been charged with killing his uncle, aunt and cousin in Madison County. But authorities said yesterday that they hadn't determined a motive for the shootings. Rashad Matthew Riddick, 23, faces three counts of capital murder in the deaths of James Clark Jackson, 55, Jackson's wife, Karen Lee Jackson, 53, and the couple's 26-year-old daughter, Chante Latrice Davis. Riddick is the son of James Jackson's sister, according to Madison Sheriff Erik Weaver. The victims were found dead Saturday morning at the Jackson home on Forest Drive, near Woodberry Forest School and the town of Orange. All suffered gunshot wounds to the upper body, Weaver said.
