Drones to be tested at Warren Co. prisons |

Unmanned tethered aerial balloons equipped with cameras and infrared could start keeping an eye on two state prisons in Warren County as part of a test program aimed at enhancing security. Officials at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Corrections have held public meetings and are taking public comments through Aug. 9 to assess concerns, state officials said. If approved, the aerostats could be in place by late August or early September at the Warren Correctional Institution and Lebanon Correctional Institution in Turtlecreek Township.
