| Inmates Escape from Holmes County Jail, One Still At Large |

The Holmes County Sheriff's Office is searching for an escaped inmate, after capturing another one following an escape early Wednesday morning. According to a release inmates 32-year-old Jeffery Morrill and 28-year-old David Challender escaped from the Holmes County Jail around 12:40 a.m. Morrill was recently sentenced to 30 years in the Florida Department of Corrections. Challender was being housed for the Bay County Sheriff's Office, while awaiting trial for murder, home invasion/robbery with a weapon, burglary of a dwelling, burglary with intent to commit theft and a state fugitive from Gwinnett County, Ga.
