Jail inspections reveal no serious problems |

PANAMA CITY— Despite the growing number of patients, the Bay County Jail has gotten high marks for its medical care in a recent audit. On Nov. 13, 2013, Tamara Taylor of Corizon Healthcare with the Okaloosa County Department of Corrections conducted a required medical inspection of the jail. “I found the facility to be exceptional in comparison to other facilities I have visited,” Taylor wrote in her report, which is the most recent medical audit. “All of the requirements for the Florida Model Jail Medical Standards were not only met but were exceeded.” Read More. |
