HI escapee arrested |

LIHUE — The fugitive furloughed inmate who ran away from his transitional home was arrested Monday. Kauai Police Department officials said officers and members of the U.S. Marshal Service Fugitive Taskforce conducted a three-day manhunt, which started over the weekend. They located Tyson Yadao, 25, in the area of the Kainahola Road and Kawaihau Road junction in Kapahi. Yadao broke into a residence, stole a vehicle and fled the area, the county stated. Yadao was later located at a separate residence in Wailua Homesteads and arrested without incident for escape, terroristic threatening burglary and unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
