| Arizona prison inmate in Safford dies; apparent suicide |

SAFFORD — Authorities say an inmate at the state prison in Safford is dead and it appears to be a suicide. Arizona Department of Corrections officials say 55-year-old Barry Wilkins was found unresponsive Wednesday morning by prison personnel at the Fort Grant unit. They say staff began lifesaving measures that were continued by paramedics upon their arrival. Read More. |
