Jail unlikely to see state inmates |

WAHOO – In spite of current trends, Saunders County is unlikely to see many additional inmates transferred in from the state prison system. Overcrowding at many state prison facilities has lead the Nebraska Department of Corrections to farm some of its inmates out to the various county jail facilities across the state. While Saunders County Jail Director Brian Styskal confirmed the trend, he said that the Saunders County Jail was unlikely to be able to tap into this potential source of additional jail revenue.
