Hunterdon County Jail earns 100 percent rating from state inspectors |

FLEMINGTON -- The Hunterdon County Jail received a 100 percent rating in its recent annual inspection. State code requires each jail be inspected once a year to insure compliance with the regulations, and personnel from the state Department of Corrections visited the jail in Flemington Aug. 5-8. The team evaluates the facility in more than 200 categories which include inmate housing standards, the physical condition of the jail and officer training requirements.
