4 attack officers to escape juvenile detention |

Preliminary investigation into the escape attempt Saturday night at a juvenile detention facility shows that four male juvenile inmates assaulted a staff member in the gymnasium before running into the main hallway, where they attempted to break the security glass in an attempt to escape the detention facility, according to a release issued from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. Additional staff members at the county Center for Adolescent Services, 333 Access Road, attemped to restrain the juveniles to prevent the escape, during which another staff member was assaulted. Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies responded to assist due to an "officer needs assist" call activated.
