Three new solar PV plants totalling 4.5 MW have been commissioned by Ecoplexus in Colorado. Two projects amounting 4 MW have been brought online under Xcel Energy's Solar Rewards Communities program and have signed long-term Renewable Energy Credit contracts with Xcel Energy as well as power purchase agreements with various state and municipal agencies, and local schools. Two plants are located in Sterling, a 2 MW community solar project and a 500 kW net-metered project at a Colorado Department of Corrections site, while a 2 MW community solar project is located in the City of Grand Junction.
