Corrections Officers: Budget Cuts May Compromise Prison Safety |

In the midst of some big budget cuts, prisons across the commonwealth are gearing for big changes. The Virginia Department of Corrections has to shed workers and move inmates around with a much smaller budget. On Wednesday, NBC29 joined several state leaders as they toured the Coffeewood Correctional Center in Culpeper County to see first-hand how budget cuts may impact facilities all across the state.
