Inmate walks away from Blackburn Correctional Complex |

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Blackburn Correctional Complex officials say an inmate walked away from the prison Sunday evening. According to the Kentucky Department of Corrections, Charles Blanton, 45, walked away from the minimum security prison around 9:17p.m. on Sunday. Blanton was serving a 16-year sentence for convictions out of Laurel County, including manufacturing methamphetamine. He would have been eligible parole in December 2015. Read More. |
