Authorities still searching for missing Ely inmate |

Authorities are still searching for an inmate who “walked away” from the Ely Conservation Camp over the weekend, according to a spokesman for the Nevada Department of Corrections. Courtland Kimble, 25, was serving 24 to 72 months for robbery and use of a deadly weapon convictions, Brian Connett, NDOC public information officer, said in an email on Monday. "They're camps and they're always minimum security inmates," Connett said in a phone interview on Tuesday. "(The camp) is secure on the inside, and these guys go work, and they're on fire crews or they work all over the place."
