Gus Harrison Correctional Facility staff strives to be the best |

Every day that warden Paul Klee is on the job he takes a tour of the Gus Harrison Correctional Facility to make sure things are working the way they should, and so the inmates know the person in charge is hands-on. He said he does this because he, along with his staff, want it to be the best facility it can be. With Michigan’s Department of Corrections garnering nearly $2 billion annually for its budget, Klee said it’s their duty to make sure tax dollars are used properly. That means running a facility such as Gus Harrison to the best of their abilities. “It’s our goal to be the best in the state, and I think when you look at what we are doing here and are trying to do, we just might be,” said Klee of the prison located in Madison Township, just on the edge of the city of Adrian.
