LIVINGSTON COUNTY – A man who has been selling drugs in the Genesee region for over 12 years pled guilty to yet another felony drug charge Tuesday morning. Antoine Burroughs, 32, represented by attorney Jeannie Michalski, pled guilty to Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a class B felony, with a sentence promise of 2 years in state prison and 3 years of post-release supervision as a second felony offender. Burroughs admitted that a car in which he was passenger was pulled over on I-390 in Avon, and he had given cocaine to another occupant of the vehicle. According to the New York State Department of Corrections, Burroughs served more than 4 years at Upstate Correctional Facility starting in 2003 for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree out of Ontario County. He then served just over 2 months at Willard Correctional Facility, a drug treatment campus the NYS prison system, for Attempted Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance out of Monroe County.
