Funke questions Department of Corrections commissioner about parole concerns |

Thursday, a local lawmaker questioned the commissioner of the Department of Corrections and Community Supervision about issues with the parole system. Senator Rich Funke didn't hold back Thursday. He flat out asked the DOCCS commissioner what is being done to protect our community -- after so many parolees have committed heinous crimes. Senator Funke went through the laundry list of parolees who have been accused or convicted of committing crimes while on parole.
