Inmate suffers life-threatening injuries in assault at Wildwood Correctional Center |

ANCHORAGE - An inmate housed at Wildwood Correctional Center was medevaced to Anchorage with life-threatening injuries following an assault involving another inmate on Tuesday, Alaska State Trooper say. Prison staff notified troopers of the assault just before 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. One of the inmates was rushed to Central Peninsula Hospital before being medevaced to Anchorage, troopers wrote in a dispatch posted online. Read More. |
