Man sentenced to jail after assaulting another inmate |

YORK – James Lyon, 26, of York has been given an additional period of incarceration after assaulting another inmate in the York County Jail. Lyon is currently serving a 1-3-year prison sentence for delivery of methamphetamine. While he was being held in the county jail, pending sentencing on that case, he assaulted the other person. On Monday morning, Lyon appeared with his attorney, Lisa Meyer, before District Judge James Stecker. York County Attorney Candace Dick noted to the court that state statutes require this type of a sentence to be served consecutively with the current sentence. Read More. |
